That thread is 3 years old! THere's plenty more recent supra's on barryboys, many are members cars (and quite honestly most deserve to be there :D )

read it again mr homer- "Sat Aug 07, 2010 8:45 pm"

:p

but agreed there are worse, but since it was recent i thought worth a mention to see if the owner was a member.

and i agree with the comments, it's mainly the colour that is really letting the car down.

It isn't a million miles away from Jason (jza80') old white car, and that was stunning, shows what a colour change & wheels can do

Haha, whoops :D

Don't think that car is too bad apart from the horrible colour and rear spats (never liked the look of those ones). It's enough to get it on barry boys though, almost anything that isn't stock gets posted on there these days.

Can someone tell me the point of barryboys.co.uk please? Do they just stick their nose up at ANY modified car? Is it because they are all fat middle-aged men who remember the "good old days"? I cannot work it out :)

In a word yes, you also just get alot of people jumping on the bandwagon.

I had the pleasue of having my old chavved up punto on there a few years ago :D

I kinda disagree here, most of the stuff on there really is Barry (chavy) and a lot of the members there have modified cars, either performance wise or subtle add ons.

They take the piss out of the idiots who put massive bodykits on 1l corsas with illegal mods like blacked out lights, the people who'll spend money getting some ripspeed alloys instead of fixing the rusty arches lol.

Any reasonably decent car that is posted there will usual not get much comments. It's the cars that give the 'car scene' a bad name that they enjoy ripping it out of.

We all have different opinions.

I see. My question was a legitimate one mate and yes, having read the front, I see your point. I take back my remark and I am addicted to their photos section now haha

EDIT: Actually I take that back fully and put back my original statement. There are right terrible cars on there but some are not DIY jobs and yet still feature. So 80:20 (barry:non-barry) tbh
