1994 L plate Silver Twin Turbo - veilside kit - sustained damage to rear 1/4 passenger side and wheel etc

80kms

1994 L plate N/A - 119kms - nice tidy car - rear driver 1/4 small dent front bumper needs painted

so far so good, be on the road soon - TBH i bought the non turbo 1st then the chance for the TT came up just after i bought it! !

The wife is nagging, the driveway is getting full now as i daily drive an 840ci individual sport in estoril blue also

:welcome:

sounds like a plan this , put the TT engine and box in the car with the good shell and get it back on the road in the mean time you can be selling all the other parts that you dont need to finance the operation :D win win, hope it all goes well for you, any probs i am sure some one on here will have the answer for you

i like the wheels on the vielside kitted motor too

Could it be that it is coming up as a MKIII Turbo?

I am sure you know the difference between an NA & TT anyway so I doubt it could be :)

Welcome to the club by the way.

ok ok ok

things just get more complicated already

the N/A i bought is turning out to be or should i say used to be a Turbo............ the track rod end is broken so i have ordered up a new one and they keep telling me the car is registered as a turbo, obviously with me looking at the engine bay its clearly Non turbo, so now i have asked for a non turbo track rod end - which doesn't fit  so my mechanic has just told me that this car is in fact a turbo after all at 1 stage in its life................

any other ways of identifying this?

Quite confused by this, any chance you could post a picture of the engine bay?

We should be able to tell you if it is a non turbo or if any work is being carried out to maybe convert it to a turbo.
