N/A to TT curiosity

You could have a TT Auto conversion plus a few gauges for £3,000 BUT you may have a considerable wait for an engine. Keron/Silverstone Garage/AFR(I think?) should be able to give you quotes and an idea of their respective waiting lists.

There's a lot of us waiting for the TT conversion bud :D

Agreed, myself included since March :search:

Use the waiting time to do other things, for example upgrading your stopping power, preferably UK calipers, at least new discs/pads and braided lines with a fluid change.

Whilst you're at it, consider new shocks and/or springs, ensure all suspension bushes are in good nick and the car generally is "up to" the conversion.

IMO its madness to do a TT conversion without the aforementioned upgrades/checks :p

Why do you want the conversion just out of curiosity? Is it because you want to save money making it a TT or because your attached to your car and simply want more power? Only reason i ask is its actually probably cheaper to sell your NA and add the 2.5 k and buy a TT. You can get really nice Auto's for 5-6k these days.

I miss having boost after selling my GT4, I bought an n/a and have got it looking really nice and how I want it, plus it's an aero top! I think a TT areo would be really good.

So would you recommend sticking to an auto box for the TT? Not driven an auto turbo before, only manuals.

Have to do a search for info on that mate, plenty of stuff been argued, i mean discussed :) All personal preference.

Mine is a single auto and previous was a tt auto. Its a great box and can still be very involving if you use it correctly. But, i would prefer it to be a manual simply because i'm pretty much on the limits of the box.
