Rear lights - 'smoked'

What's the general consensus on these?

Think it would look good on my white TT to compliment my spoiler?

If someone has access to Photoshop, I'd appreciate seeing what it'd look like!

Use some thick denier tights stretched over your lamps first, to see how they look.

Sort of like Martin Degville, but in clear acrylic.

As much as we rip into you dude, you do have a nice car.

Dont spoil it, it looks lovely as it is, just get some OEM spats on it, and a front bumper of your choice (except blitz) and it will look stunning

Also TRD wing with carbon blade.

Oh man just paint the spoiler white:D buy the paint and ill even lay it on for free, it will look much better, trust us, it just looks odd.

i don't hate the black spoiler... but i highly detest 'smoked' rear lights.. imo, very chav.. reminds me of novas and corsas..

I have smoked rear lights (like that when i bought it) on a whte car and to be honest i actually like them now.

i have smoked on my NA, now having just bought some facelift style light for the TT i've been converted. GO with facelift

I had smoked rears on my previous car (in my garage) and liked them. Just a light tint, so you can still see the red lenses if looking closely.

personally i'm not so sure on white, but, i still think your spoiler needs to be white

They look good on a white car. I saw them smoked on a white car and it made me want them done on mine (even though my car is black). Point being, I saw them on a white car and they looked

Sorry nothing against you NOS. Why do people ask these questions, just be decisive and do what you want. If you have to ask then you probably should not do it.

I just put the two images side by side. The smoked lenses make your car look like the rears fell out. Sorry wrong decade.

Chavvy dude, don't like it at all..! the facelift lights looks good on their own dude

I saw a Saxo with them the other day, I could barely see his indicators or his brake lights!! Very dangerous IMO. If you do it just get a light tint on them.

I had smoked lights on my MR2. Next MOT date was after i sold it... apparently it failed on the lights because of the smoked effect, though i smoked them following the DVLA regulations, obviously as it wasnt my car anymore i didnt take them up on it.
