Oddball87 Posted July 16, 2010 Share Posted July 16, 2010 Weighed the supra today came to 1400kg with 1/4 tank of fuel Worked out roughly when i am done it should be around 1320kg with 600 bhp hope it dose cant wait untill next sumer!!! I am going with a small single turbo (GT35) set up want around 500/600 bhp. The Varley Red Top 25 battery saves a lot of weight also, I had no trouble in starting my car with it until I fully drained it overnight one time, it was no good after that, but I will be getting another, that alone was like 12kgs off Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The weight saving is amazing, stock Nissan S/line and Toyota Supra doors both weigh a staggering amount with all the electrics, mechanisms and anti intrusion bars. That will be done to but i will be putting a weld in cage first though, I dont think carbon or fibreglass doors would do much in the advent of side impact crash. Whats lighter carbon or fibreglass doors? The Whifbitz doors look good. I do intend to keep the door cards front speakers a stock glass.
