Okay lads...

The route I've gone with is 66 miles long and will take just under 2hrs. Please see the google map link at the bottom of this post for specific details.

Meeting time/place: 10-10.30am, The Keelman pub, Newburn (NE15 8ND)

We'll be setting off at 10.30 and doing the aforementioned drive. Afterwards, I suggest we get some bait and have a bit natter before heading home...

Finishing point: 12.30pm, The Twin Farms pub, Kenton Bankfoot (NE13 8AB)

Both pubs have decent car parking, so that shouldn't be a problem :)

In the past, I've always tried to do a 'trial' drive of the route to make sure the roads are ok. Unfortunately, I'm not able to do so this time as I have my stag do this weekend :D However, Google street map is our friend and all of the route is visible if you drag the little yellow gadgy around.

If numbers are poor (say less than 5), I'm inclined to not bother with the drive and just stay at the Keelman. So, that said, get your name added onto the list if you're fairly sure you can make it.

Well I've just ordered my new wheels so I think I might pass on this :( and go for the 8th August one instead guys, just so I can save up money for some decent new rubber for my new shoes :)

Other than the date, there is nothing arranged/organised yet to actually happen on the 8th August.

Argh! Well unfortunately I am still out for this weekend as I am now skint between the bodyshop/painter, Mr Whiffin for the wheels and whoever for the rubber.

Unless my wheels sell by the weekend I'm out guys

Right, so it now looks like this for this coming Sunday:

1. Stevo

2. Neo2810

3. Tom S

4. UGP

Which, I'm sorry, IMO isn't really worth using up the petrol on 3 Supes and an Aristo.

I propose we move this event back to the 8th August then since that has an agreed date but no actual activity - all other details to remain the same. I've revised the name list - bringing over the folk from the other thread that Jim started.

Please update as necessary if you can do the new date.

Cheers
