I can supply RPS clutches from the USA which is apparently the exact same clutch as TRD sells and wacks a big price tag on. Price for the stage 2 clutch is £411 + UK delivery and VAT and takes about a week to get roughly. This uses a std clutch disc and uprated pressure plate. I use this in my modded Supra and it works a treat, I've sold quite a few recently and all are happy with them, they drive like a standard clutch as well apart from a slight increase in pedal weight.

Give us a shout if you need one or need anymore info

Cheers

If you need one supplying and fitting I can easily sort that out. Stock ones are great if you haven't any wild mods.

I can turn it round within the day.

Is it a smooth power transition or is it a bit snappier than stock? I've heard the HKS ones are a bit brutal...which is somthing I'm not looking for.

Michael,

I had one fitted last year, toyota OE + new spigot bearing all in £463 and it was back same day.

Sound job and took care of my car too!(a big consideration IMHO)

I take it that you didnt need to replace the flywheel then ?

I heard that this "has" to be done as well but wasnt convinced....

Arent there any import places in the UK that can supply at a decent price ?

It is definitely NOT essential to replace the flywheel. It will only need attention / renewal if the clutch has badly scored it due to not being changed before the rivets mark the flywheels friction surface.

RPS, Centreforce, etc recommend that the flywheel is faced off when the clutch is being changed.
The RPS clutch is not grabby at all, it uses a std plate so it drives like a std clutch, just a bit heavier. They also do a carbon 6 puck plate for the big power Supra's. Stage 2 clutch is more than up to the job of BPU++.

Does anyone know if the supra has a self adjusting clutch cable or is it adjusted like any other ?

Stupid question probably ???
