Having just sworn at mine, I used the starter motor to whip the bolt off, then I used one of these pullers + shock to remove my pulley:

Making your own is simple enough if you can't find one.

I had major problems in that the threaded bolt holes on my pulley wouldn't hold but hopefully you won't have that issue!

any idea where they can be baught? i cant see me finding any. i hate seeing my car incomplete :(

Craig, just knock one up, if you want I will take a photo of mine and send it to you. Its so easy to make a basic tool and I have used mine several times on 3 supras now. It's made from two peices of angle iron cut from an old bedframe believe it or not.

One piece is about 50cm or so long and the other I guess 30cms. Bolted together to make a Y form (bolted at the join not even welded) that sits flush to the pulley. A hole drilled in each part that allows you to bolt it to the threaded holes either side of the bolt. Your socket then just fits inside the V. Then in use the long part of the tool rests against the chassis on the driver side.

Honest mate, once you do it you will wonder what the fuss was all about.
