Noise Supressor

I'm getting sound from my engine coming over the speakers. I had a noise supressor fitted across the battery terminals but the thing never quite stopped the engine noise. The casing of the suppressor has melted from the engine temps so I need a new one, can anyone recommend a good one?

FYI I have a JVC amp fitted with good quality cabling.
