How can I tell if my car has got cruise control?

Hi guys. I just purchased my first Supra. Its a 1994 twin turbo jap import but has an after market steering wheel. Is there any way of identifying if my car has cruise control or is that on UK models only? Thanks.

as far as i can gather from what i have read cruise control was an optional extra on all models, so it would probably be advertised if it had it.

anyway cruise control is no match for the heavy right boot :-)

I don't know much about it though; I thought there was another stalk that operated it.

You will have a second pulley and two sets of cables going to your throttle body one comes from your accelerator the other from the cruise control.

Supra Ireland it does say he has an aftermarket steering wheel which will render that diagram useless. Good effort though. Cruise control came with the j-spec also not just uk ones mate. As above there should be a seperate pully for it if your has it.

Here is a pic of my engine and I’ve circled the second throttle cable which stephendjb pointed out, I’ve also circled the cruise control box. On the second pic ive pointed out where my cruise control stork is which supra-ireland pointed out.

On the second pic if you look through the steering wheel where the arrow is you can just about see the cruise control stork

If you are able to drink a bottle of vodka and get home in one piece..! guess what? yes you must have cruise control..! lol
