New exhaust. Before / After Vid

Well my HKS finally bit the dust, I had it repaired but was just delaying the inevitable. Whatever I bought I didnt want anything mild steel again with the rust issue so got in touch with my local custom exhaust shop infinity and had them make me a custom one.

Very happy with it so far but will see how I feel after having driven 200 miles or so to Southport tomorrow and what state my ears are in.

I know its nice to have top end HKS stuff but couldnt justify paying that sort of money if it wont last. I did a quick vid of both exhausts, sort of a before and after. Not sure my camera records the sound particularly well but the infinity is a fair bit louder but thankfully not so loud it ruins boost noise.

Only thing I am not too sure about at the moment is the end lip, I had it rolled at the tip and thinking maybe I should have just got a straight cut instead.

One more thing off the 'to fix list' at least :D

I have the HKS SuperDrager on mine and love it though I know it will eventually rust from the inside out at which point I will switch to a stainless system.

From the vid, I think the new exhaust sounds nice externally, like you said, your ears will tell you what its like from the inside after a good trip, my fear would be droning on motorway journeys....and I'd go straight cut :)
