What Rev could a n/a reach

I was wondering what's the max rev that n/a could reach? 80k or 75k?

Rev? If you're talking rpm I'm assuming you mean 7.5k or 8k?

It says 9krpm on mine but turns red at 7krpm I think.

I have never gone over 8 but I think I need to to keep it in the 200bhp range. I always shift to early.

Have you looked at your rev limiter? What's the top value?

You might get 8k but not for long

I would have thought high 8s, purely because people have taken the TT lumps that far (and further). However you won't see that rev range with a stock ecu, and then we start going down the route of putting a standalone in an NA....

14k I think most engines are tested to. Won't last long though.

Sorry about the rev thing. Yes its the rpm. Everything is stock and on the rev counter it goes up to eight so to be on the safe side seven k is a good bet?

If everything on your car is stock it won't go over 7200rpm iirc. If you want to go higher on a stock engine with stock turbo's it won't really get you much but I guess it is relatively OK as my Mines ECU has an 8k limit..... I know they can be a bit mad but I don't think they would overkill it (might be wrong). I would say 8k for stockish engine, mine hasn't blown up yet.

If you build the head, & engine internals 10k rpm hasn't been unheard of. This is a ridiculous amount of money to spend to get to this level though, and I don't know what the rebuild requirements are at this level.

^Yes there is... The drop in power after those peak points won't neccesarily be a larger drop than changing up a gear too early (dropping the revs lower than the powerband).

A stock NA won't go over 6800rpm, 7200 for vvt-i supra's. To go higher you'd need some sort of aftermarket ECU.

my speedo says 180 mph can i go that fast or shall i keep it to 165

It would sound pretty special at 10k (so long as nothing was breaking )
