removing the plastic in wheel arch

is this common?

 

just lookin on how much room i have/dont have where my wheels are.

 

 

i can hear a faint squeeking sometimes, its not the sound of the tire cutting into the arch, so amusing its the plastic.

 

 

is it ok to just remove these?

really? can you elaborate why ?

 

 

perhaps il just cut the part where appear to be rubbing then....

 

I'd do that. You'll be shocked how much crap gets into places you don't want it if you remove them completely.

 

First instance, my washer jets stopped working because the passenger side wheel arch houses the pump.
