Water dripping out of boot lid

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has come across this problem before? Ive never had a problem with the boot lid until now, but yesterday i noticed water dripping out of the tailgate. It was dripping smack bang in the middle of the tailgate on the inside so that when it dripped it was running down onto the toyota badge. I also noticed that the central brake light had misted up.

Could it be leaking in through the spoiler fixings ( These have never been removed ) or could it be getting in behind the light? Yesterday was the first time ive ever seen this, and it only happened when the car was back on level ground. The car is normaly parked facing down towards the house, so all the rain on sunday must have collected somewhere?

Any clues would be great guys

Cheers

I found water in where my spare tyre is the weekend after I changed my fuel pump. Thought it was petrol at first but it was def. water. No idea where it came from and don't know if it is there still. Dried it at the time but it may have come back. Strange.

Thanks for the advice guys, will get the hose out later and see what i find. Just to add if any of you open your tailgates you will see the hole in the middle of the boot, this is where the water is coming from, not around the plastic trim on the underside.
