I noticed inside the handle there is a grommet that comes in and out easily, maybe yours has jammed inside? get a tweezers and play around in there before you strip it down, i hear they are a right pain:( but im painting mine so i gots to do this:(

To do the LED stuff in the handle, is that easy? Of the car didn't have if from factory I mean...

look here http://www.internetwork.org.uk/kit_inst/doorlock.htm

you can pull out the plastic bit on the inside where the handle slides in and out but it still wont give enough room to pull it apart. you would have to remove the pin itself which requires a special tool as far as i know (had to order a replacement handle after i tried it my way :D )

i'm just removing the spring and spraying the handles pulled open so i can get the paint in there

i need to do this too on the drivers side, it needs a very hard pull to get it open, so any info would be great.

It sounds as if the rod into the handle just needs adjusted down the way matey. An easy fix without a full handle strip down needed. Could maybe arrange a supra meeting to get the guys together to discuss arrangements and things over a coffee for suprapod and i could adjust it for you?
