clutch for 3.4 stroker, HKS twins?

A friend of mine is running HKS twins on a 3.4 stroker kit. Up to now he has been using a very expensive triple plate clutch for it to be streetable.

He puts a lot of miles on it (10.000+ miles a year) and therefore needs a clutch that is as easy as possible for street use, but still can hold the aprox 750hp/660lb/ft.

Now, the current clutch (don't remember the name) only lasts for a season or so with his demand for miles and it is rebuildable only once. Replacement is 3000£ or so.

So... Is there anyone with some suggestions for clutches that will live up to this?

  • Cheaper than 3000£
  • Hold 750hp and up towards 700 lb/ft
  • Easy to live with/No race clutches (he has no problems with noisy clutches though)
  • As long lasting as possible (even though the car is driving quite hard)

Speak to LeeP as he is running a big HKS twin setup, although he only use's it rarely. According to his garage he run's a blitz twin plate.
