Pink Wire?

I don't think the pink wire should be connected.

 

Correct. The pink wire from memory goes to things like Power steering, cruise control. If you left it connected you would still be sending the original signal to them, so it gets cut off and the loom side of it is joined to an output from the converter to recieve the modified signal.

 

Think that makes sense :D

That's the old lady coloured wire, reconnect if you want everthing to go a bit slower:d

ok after lots of time re wiring the speed converter i still dont get a speedo reading :( but my tacho is working again

But i do get a speed reading off the boost controller! (in hmh as thats what it only displays in)

Any more advice?

All the wires were put bacj in correctly etc..
