As it says.

Absolute bliss.

No more knocking, & i can open the boot without it catching still on the latch, meaning i;ve got to take the keys out.

I just used some 1mm acrylic adhesive tape under the palstic block on the boot, rather than changing the rubbers on the car. Worked a treat so far.

I assume this is an ok way of sorting the problem?

+ these plastic blocks came off really easy with a socket wrench - dont know if these were/are suppossed to be glued into position. (havent looked at the srews for rubbers though)

Cheers

I actually replaced mine just over 6 months ago and the annoying knocking has returned recently - so I assume you actually took the existing rubbers off ( so to speak ! ), placed some tape underneath then bolted them back on.

Mine are currently covered in silicone, sponge and glue to try and stop the knocking - has stopped in slightly but not completely !
