I have it in writing that the sale was agreed for a price of £3,800.

He gave me his PayPal address and I was going to wire thru the money and I only found out he sold it to someone by reading a thread on this Forum!

Alot of money Gav....

The search begins.... again...

I really am on a total downer now - that car was what I wanted as my ideal second car...

Aaaah, so you don't want a 10second car then??

Seriously, rather put something together that is your own than copy something or take someone elses....

Or a novel idea here, JUST enjoy the one you have that is a nice car!

principle of this stinks. To sell the car and not tell you when it was already sold to you is disgusting.

On the plus side though you haven't ended up with a crap looking car :) F&F cars just make you look like a prize turd rolling down the street.

Very thoughtful Gav :D

Although whilst it's a bummer (for you) losing the sale, I have every confidence you will retun in the fullness of time with a new thought provoking thread regarding your new project.

I can hardly wait :)

Don't think so this time. I'm so disheartened that I think I'm going to bow out gracefully.

A lucky escape I'd say, it looked awful.

Go outside, have a walk and REALLY think about it... It was only an NA with some paint and fibreglass!!! I've said it before your white TT is far better and nicer!!

If you are REALLY that obsessed with it, use the money you would have spent on it and spray yours....You will end up with car that you can take pride in the fact that YOU specced it.
