List of parts and jobs to be done on lees car

Ok this is just off the top of my head so please add as if missed anything.

 

Parts needed.

 

1: Crank pully

2: Timing belt tensiner (buster has spares)

3: Auxilary belt tensioner (buster has spares)

4: Cam belt

5: Oil

6: Oil filter

7: Fuel Filter

8: Coolant

9: Crank position sensor

 

 

Jobs to do.

 

1: Repair turbo ( not needed)

2: Fuel lines (braided)

3: Oil Lines

4: Rewire fuel lines

5: Reroute screemer pipe

6: fit missing subframe supports

Oil analysis, check cam caps... and if possible end caps (if that is being done, it would be worth checking the torque on all bolts/nuts)

 

Sort out fuel pump wiring to remove it from ICE, I PERSONALLY would pull the pumps out to see how they have been done in the first place.

 

I'll update this post as I think of stuff

i have a k and n oil filter,

 

still a fair bit of oil left, 5L not opened yet and what ever was left in the other 5L tub

 

have some coolant not sure size of tub will check

 

the cam belt, fuel filter and crank pully above all sound fine so consider them sold

 

and yes paul said there is play in the borg warner turbos but obv with out checking he cant say for def but does have more than usual turbos

If its a dual BB turbo then the shaft should have some sort of movement in it anyway (aslong as its not moving stupid amounts) as the shaft is only solid when the oil is flowing through the turbo and the bearings stiffen up.

 

If its a journal bearing and theres play in it then its probly safe to say it wants replacing/rebuilding

 

EDIT: sorry just noticed thats its a BW turbo your running. As there not DBB or BB at all then i cant say its the same as i havnt looked at a new one out of the box yet. All i know is the precision BB turbo's are like that by design
