single turbo manifold

has anyone had experiance of this manifold? any idea how reliable and how much it can take?

You get what you pay for with that stuff. I'd personally not buy one. It looks ok, but the quality of the material and of the welds is key.

Looking at your location, if you want a good single manifold, speak to Paul Whiffin about one of his.

yeh i guess so, to be honest i dont wana spend too much on the big brands such as hks, neither do i wana bee a tight git and go so XS power, i would like to get some thing reliable in between.

Reliable will not mean cheap. £300 is very cheap for a manifold.

THe couple of OBX manifolds I've seen looked pretty good though, the welding was good and no sign of swarf, the runners are more or less equal and the collectors appeared to have decent flow. No idea if they are any good, but l'd recommend a 'proceed with caution' approach. The price is very good when compared to the XS power one, it's a massive step up in terms of quality. It's no match for the "proper" ones out there though.

Its made from 321 Stainless, so thats a good start.

Pauls manifolds look really nice, we are using one soon, very impressed with what ive seen so far and talking to Paul

not for the 1jz, ive have another aerotop in which im installing the VVti TT engine and 6 speed box

Ryan g's gana do the wiring in the 1jz conversion for me next monday, i will get some pics and a vid up
