Supra Seats

How comfortable and supportive are the seats in a Supra? Do they have good lumbar support?

I'm asking becaus the seats I have in my Civic are very standard and not very comfortable at all. They have zero lumbar support which is not helping my dodgey back.

Would be just another reason to get a Supe if it's for medicinal purposes

I drove from York to Bruges (Belgium) via Dover/Calais (11 hours driving and the best part of 400 miles) in one day in my old UK spec with stock seats, and I had no aches etc at all.

How old is the Honda?

I find the Supra seats are spot on, but as another option the Delsol (CRX) seats off my old car were great too.

Cheap too if you want to fit them...

Depends how worn they are. The ones in my NA seem to have good support and are very comfortable, but the drivers seat I've removed from my TT didn't last so well and was not very supportive at all - always seemed to get out with an aching back.

I find the standard cloth Supra seats more comfy, but the leathers better looking.

Drove to Russia and back with a detour to central France on the way home last year with the cloth seats, slept on them a few times too.

4,000 miles and not a peep from my dodgy back.

Maybe do the same again this year on the leathers, but not confident my back will be happy about it.

So if the seats are in good nick then they should be pretty supportive? How adjustable are they?

My Civic is a '97 1.5 lsi.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of buying a Supra
