tyre pressure ?

what air pressure should my avon tyres be? size:

front-225/40ZR18 92Y

back-255/35ZR18 94Y

I always put about 32 - 34 in all round

Rear - 33

hmmm not sure what to put getting different feedback.....

I put 28 in mine, (235/35/18 front 265/35/18 rear) used to run 32-34 and several people I know who work in motorsport told me that's too high, so I run 28 now. Lots of conflicting reports out there it's hard to know what to believe.

There is a difference if you run road tires or semi slick tires.

On the road tires, I put 34-35 psi when cold ; on my Michelin Pilot Sport Cup (semi slick), I put 29 psi when cold. I was told by the supplier in germany that you can run down to 22psi on the Michelin's when cold.

The semi slicks, as they go higher in temps, get higher pressure. My Michelin's are at 33 psi at 40 °C, which is fine for the road.
