Induction kit, or not to induction kit

Personally I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. The stock air box flows more than enough air for all but the highest HP demands.

It'll sound good, but you'll get little or no extra power and you *could* cause premature wear to the engine.

For £35 I'd cut my losses and stick it back on eBay

All IMHO of course :)

NOW i've heard they are TERRIBLE and in no way ever to fit one. Is this true? I've heard all the normal horror stories about engines getting full of crap

I certianly wouldn't use it. It's not an original HKS cause it's intended for non-sports cars, like fiestas! He can't even decide if it's a Blitz sytle filter (according to the title) or a HKS style filter (throughout the page).

For what is is worth I have seen one of these and compared the filter material to an old HKS mushroom. The HKS was made of a much more open foam which was vertually see through. The Blue foam of other unit was much firmer. With a good oiling I would think the cheap unit would give better filtration than the HKS- JMHO
