kitted Supras use less petrol?

I'm no aerodynamicist but I'd guess that the standard non-modified Supra shape creates less drag than the majority of the badly designed body kits out there. A standard Supra is also lighter than a kitted one, so its a double kluge I reckon.

Have you tried coating it in KY Jelly and sticking five dead flies along the rear edge of the roof ?

I've been told that both Top Secret and Yashio factory (although Yashio dont make Supra kits IIRC) test some of thier kits in the wind tunnel. Not Sure if this applies to the Supra kit though, although my old single did fantastic MPG for the performance.

Decent kits will be tested in a tunnel to check the downforce, not the friction.

I don't think you could add anything to a car to aid petrol consumption..... other than tape.

You could remove the wing mirrors, spoiler & window wipers though :D

Running low tyres gives you better traction as there is mote tyre surface area on the floor than usual, but more surface area means more friction so more drag, it won't make you go any faster, and it will ruin your tyres over time.

Good tyres will help hugely though, I always buy the best I can, that reminds me I need some, arse
