got my brakes back this weekend but unfortunatly it looks like part of the powder coating has gotten into 2 of the caliper piston barrels before i start gouging and scratching it off has anyone had this problem and do you think nitromors or something similar may shift it

am gutted as apart from the above the job is awesome

I used to mask the bits i wanted to keep with several layers of masking tape then get the nitromoors out to soften the coating only.

Then scrape off with a sharp blade(watch you don't damsage the piston barrel)

Be really careful though as it easily runs and can damage surrounding sections, also make sure the nitromoors doesn't stay on the tape too long as it will go through it.
