how to stop the annoying bong sound when the door is open?

is there a fuse, wire, or something to disable the sound?

anoying if the key is in the ignition an the doors open..

yep theres a fuse under the drivers side bit, take 1 fuse out and it will stop dont kno which one it is thow but try all them lol

Take the key out

When im working on my car and want the radio on, and the door open, i tape up the little switch on the door sill so it thinks the doors shut and stops the bong.

However i may consider taking the fuse out soon.

if i take the key out cannot have the music on,

there really a fuse in the footwell for it?

or wheres the actual unit that makes the noise so i can smash it up lol

theres a fuse for it bud under the steering wheel bud, pull them out one by one and try it.

Anybody know if this fuse will also stop the constant high-pitched noise when you leave the lights on and open the door.

Ill remove the fuse if it only stops the bonging noise which lets you know the keys are in the ignition, but if it also stops the lights left on warning noise ill leave it.

theres a fuse for it bud under the steering wheel bud, pull them out one by one and try it.

Wind down the window, close the door.

from the ignition lock is coming a cable with a 2 pin black connector ,there is a blue one also that looks the same, the blue one is for light around the ignition lock disconnect the black one and voila its is gone , u need to remove the lower cover thats sits with 2 m6 screws

You should get your stereo rewired so it can be on without the ignition being on

Nah, id rather have it so the ignition turns it off tbh, so i dont have to manually turn it on and off all the time.

the noise from the key is made by a little switch on ign barrel 2 screws done if i remember under the plastic surround..
