My visit to Whifbitz and 2bartuning 2010 and 2011

My car was at Whifbitz on Monday and Tuesday for the following installations:

- BW 91-79 0.91 AR turbo

- 850cc injectors

- HKS 264 cams (in and out)

- PWR rad

- Setrab 19 row oil cooler

- Setrab 19 row (Series A) power steering cooler

- SPA gauges (oil temp, pressure, water temp, fuel press) and Defi Racer gauge for EGT

- New 6 puck disc for the RPS clutch

On Wednesday, I met Ryan at SRR for the mapping.

After some discussions, we agreed to go for 1.5 bar .. and see if the result would be fine for me.

At SRR, it made 625.6 bhp and 540 ftlbs at 1.5 bar of boost. Although Ryan planned to give 1.7 bar a try, I thought this was fine to start with

I have to say that I am very happy with the result - the power is much more impressive than my Stage 1 was. On the way back home to Luxemburg, I had a smile on my face for almost 380mls

At 1.3 bar, it made 603 bhp, and 626 @ 1.5. So I guess at 1.7, there would be another 25-30 bhp more.

I love the sound of the turbo

The drive back was indeed fun.. Although I did not want to meet the belgium cops, I did one pull from 140 to 240 kph in 5th gear ... awesome :d

Im interested to see what yours is like as you have greddy intake manifold same as me, at 1.5 bar my billet 67 is 680bhp, 1.8 bar is 730bhp 580ftlbs (stock engine with small 256 cams) im wondering if the manifold is making up the extra power or its just the billet 67 is better.

I cant remember mate, it was 580ftlb at 1.8bar.

Mine has the HKS manifold on mate so we will see.

Wonder how it will be until you want that 1.7 bar, you soon get bored dont you. Never get bored of that turbo whistle though eh. Still waiting for pictures of the receptionist!
