northeast_supra Posted April 11, 2010 Share Posted April 11, 2010 I was having a talk with a fellow supra owner about how i only seem to get 70 miles out of £20 if i`m careful to which he replied he gets double that giving his a thrash and menioned i should replace my lambda sensors? does this sound right to anyone as i know nothing about the mechanics of if not any ideas on what to do if there is anything needed? any help would be great thanks guys Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gaz6002 Posted April 11, 2010 Share Posted April 11, 2010 You can buy new Lambda sensors from Toyota and most Supra tuning places, or you can clean your own using lemon juice if you're feeling cheap. I was thinking about doing that later in the year but theres so much involvedi've decided to use jm imports for a TT engine closer to the time for slightly less hassle... I was wondering the same thing (lambda sensor) as my car only just scraped through it's MoT by getting her very hot and putting her on the test machine. Can the lambda sensor be tested easily?
