lambda sensor?

I was having a talk with a fellow supra owner about how i only seem to get 70 miles out of £20 if i`m careful to which he replied he gets double that giving his a thrash and menioned i should replace my lambda sensors? does this sound right to anyone as i know nothing about the mechanics of if not any ideas on what to do if there is anything needed? any help would be great thanks guys

You can buy new Lambda sensors from Toyota and most Supra tuning places, or you can clean your own using lemon juice if you're feeling cheap. Have a search, it's been covered loads of times.

 

If your economy is that bad it should make quite a difference.
