Take it to a decent bodyshop as it might just be the laquer, if it is its just flat it back then re laquer, if its eaten through the paint as well then its a repaint and re laquer.

Depending where you go you could get it re painted and laquerd for around £250 ish

Well I'm going to t-cut it first and see if I get any results minor or not. If not, I guess a respray is on the agender.

Dont waste your time, if your going to try anything get some 1200wet and dry flatting paper and a flatting block a bucket of water and try flatting the area.

If you use t cut it'll take you forever and it'll be patchy as you'll have to do the whole bonnet, much better and quicker to block the bonnet

As i said it depends where you go, i know places that would charge £100 and i know places that charge £500

Absolutely, just don't want to scare the guy away from getting a quote to respray because he thinks it'll be more expensive than it needs to be.

I won't be scared... I know different places are different. I've been ripped off for poor sprays before and I won't let it happen again. It's just a shame that most people on the island do a really shocking job at both fixing and spraying cars. :(

In fact - does anyone know anywhere in Hampshire that is pretty good for this stuff? Close to Winchester preferably.

Thankyou.
