Hi, I have been looking for a new exhaust for my TT, as my 5Zigen is too quiet for me, and someone suggested I go to Tyrespot or somewhere like that and have one made........

What is people's opinions on this as I don't hear about this being done a lot and am a bit unsure but don't see why it wouldn't work.

I have a double decat done and so just need the back bit done really

Woops, search button is not my friend!!

Well after something which gives a nice deep rumble at idle and gets loud on wot (so i can actually hear it!)

Got to say Nur Spec R is really nice sounding but i'm sure the Powerflow exhausts that the likes of Tyrespot do are a lot cheaper? Just wanting to find out if they give the same kind of performance, considering cats are already out, and if you can get a nice sound from them really

Hehe, I know just what someone mentioned!

Don't really have one in mind, but don't want to spend a fortune on it as I only really need the rear section....

Other one I have seen is the Nur Spec S, which is the rear section only right? How does that sound compared to the 'R'?

The Blitz NUR S back box is designed to fit the stock mid pipe, it's unlikely that it'd mate up to the 5Zigen mid pipe.

Why not open up the 5Zigen back box and gut it.

This is what I was originally thinking of doing, it has a silencer and the back box, was thinking of having the silencer removed (straight pipe welded in), but wasn't sure if this would mess the exhaust up......

So it has a silencer on the mid pipe? That would be the simplest solution, just get it chopped out and replaced with a pipe.

Ok thanks for the reviews on Powerflow, hehe looks like i'll give my mate a slap and wait for a proper exhaust to come up!

Looking at getting a Superdragger, HKS Hi-Power or a Nur Spec R for it really

Thanks for the help though everbody :D

The SupeDrager has coated mild steel pipework so be carefull you dont buy a rotten one as they tend to rot from the inside out.

Great sounding Exhaust though :)
