my sidelights dont work ????

hey guys just got my supra and noticed my sidelights dont work.. could it possably be a fuse blown?? i kno theres a fuse box in the engine bay where is the other one??

any ideas?

If you're talking about the light at the outside of the cluster, it's a fog light. The one's on the inside are full beams, the one in the middle is dipped and there is a little one at the bottom between the dipped and fog which is the sidelight's.

If it's the fogs, there is a twisty 'ring' on the headlight stick attached to the steering column.

hmmm right the full beam and dipped beam work but the foglights and sidelights dont work:( when i turn it once and the dash lights come on i suppose thats when the sidelights should come on and nothing. when i also turn the circle bit ON the headlight stick nothing aswell.

think it may be a blown fuse???

your car may have facelift indicators, which in that case the side lights may be in there, check bulbs first, could both be blown?

The other fusebox is under the steering column near the bonnet release btw.

Get a voltmeter and check there's power going to the sidelights, and get a battery and battery test your sidelights.

There's a relay somewhere which can go which gives the feed to the sidelights and I think the foglights as well.

And no you don't have facelift front lights, so in the front light cluster you have sidelights, dipped, main and fog lights

Following on from your other thread did you find if this was a blown fuse?

I think I must be one of the only people who's had a duff relay
