Hi all

I have just bought my first Supra - 1997, 3.0litre, twin turbo, 406bhp.

I am interested in hearing people's opinions about what project to undertake next - e.g. interior, exterior, engine, etc.

Comments welcome. [COOL][/COOL]

Without seeing the interior or hearing more about the engine there is one major job that jumps out as needing doing - find all the bits made by Veilside and replace them with standard bits.

Hope this helps :)

I am in agreement (I think) regarding the wing especially. I am considering replacing it with a more subtle carbon fibre rear wing.

Veilside is ''2001'' according to our U.S. counterparts!

So new? I would have said '94 personally ;)

Each to their own though, if you like it then we'll just pull your leg now and again, those wings are a bit OTT though, something more subtle would transform the whole car.

Ultimately it's your car, do what you like :)

Do it yourself, it's easy enough and a good learning curve if you haven't done it before, failing that I'm sure 1 or 2 of our Irish members would be willing to lend a hand ;)

Example: To remove the rear spoiler you'll just need to remove the plastic trim on the inside of the tailgate then locate 4 (IIRC 10mm) bolts, undo them and the spoiler will come off, refitting is just the reverse!

Dead easy ;)

BTW, after removing the V/S rear spoiler make sure you cover it in something flammable then drop a lit match on it ;)

Thanks Kev, I'm not knowledgable when it comes to cars but I'm learning more and more each day! I'll give it a go anyway! :D
