Any risk of j-spec injectors running hot @ BPU?

I heard that the 430 injectors might run hit if they are running close to their max limit (390bph in this case) for longer periods of time. I'm thinking highway blasts on the autobahn or track driving.

Is there anyting to this? If so will a fuel regulator be the answer?

They are 440cc not 430cc and they are not mounted in the cylinder head, they are mounted in the runners.

A well setup BPU motor will be pushing injector duty close to max on the stock 440cc units but its been done for many years on many motors.

While an adjustable fuel reg would allow you to up the base pressure this wouldn't be advised unless you have means to control the fuelling, you would need to pull the injectors back otherwise you will just make the motor run richer through the whole rev range :search:
