Replacing clutch at home. Feasible?

Its time for a new clutch for the Supra and I have the parts.

I have a week off this week and wondered if it was feasible to change the clutch on my drive?

I have a couple of trolley jacks, some axle stands and a pretty good tool kit. I have done most maintenance tasks over the years but never a clutch for some reason.

Will I need any special tools for the bearings etc..?

Will jacks and axle stands give me enough clearance to do the job?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Started this afternoon but run out of light. Next step is to remove the bell-housing bolts but I can see this being a pain in the a*se! Any advise?

If I undo the rear gearbox mounting bracket and lower the rear of the box, does that give access to the bolts on the top of the bell-housing?

I had the same issue... pull down on the back on the box and use long extensions with a wobbly socket attachment. You have to do it by touch.

Thanks again:thumbs:

Also remember to undo the 6 clutch bolts before sliding the gearbox out.

Done that bit. Ta. ;)
