T2 MSW
I know I can pick the RPM up off pin 58 on the ECU but I dont want to many things on that connector and the ECU already picks it feed up from there. Im fitting my digital dask and need to know two things. 1.) What colour wire on the dial clustor connector is a RPM syscal and what type of pulse signal is it? 2.) On the same connector which wire is the fuel level sender and is it a standard 5V reading?
Paul Whiffin
Alright mate, Cant remember what the rpm one is at the dash end might be easier to take it off the ECU, think that might be what I did. With the fuel gauge you'll need to do a continuity test between the plug going on the fuel pump hangar to find out which wire it is. I've got the settings for voltages to use, we spent ages getting this bit right, you have to get a min and max reading from the fuel sender and then messing around with the Racepak settings so it'll save you a lot of time. T2 MSW
Cheers Paul, is the Dash not prone to the same issues with the RPM feed as something like the RaceLogic? If you could PM me the fuel voltages that would be ace then I dont have to mess about with it
