faints at the price of petrol

So I haven't used my supra for about 4 months.

Got it out for a trip to Northampton today and decided to fill her up. £74 in total :faint:.

Commuting to London on the train has left me in a bubble, last time I put petrol in anything it was around £1.05 a litre.

I just glad all the tax we pay goes to fixing the roads and stuff and not towards MPs claims for loo roll and donkey porn.

I try not to look at the prices and just get on with it.

But yeah, as mentioned above I filled up two weeks ago and cost me just over £75.

I was looking under the car to check I didn't have a fuel leak!

I'm not sure it was ever public knowledge about the donkey aspect, boss.

I intend going to the Reading meet this Tuesday, so I've put my boys' inheritance in the tank - just to make sure I get there and back.

All the way from Watford too.

Just in this short thread how may people have complaned about the price of fuel , if the hole country did this we could get it down .

We should all ( car drivers that is ) use one fuel station ie shell and the prices on the rest of the suppliers would soon come down . Rich.

But your theory falls down in one particular area -

Sandwiches.

I prefer the BP ones, so could be difficult to coordinate/persuade. Some (I've heard this on the grapevive) prefer Tesco.

So what now?

i filled my altezza today at 121.9! this is getting really ridiculous!

Its ridiculous but not bad enough for the public to actually do something about it.

If we all stop filling up even once a week - they would take notice. Its the Govt that cashes in with over 80% tax on fuel.
