Paul Laing
Took some pics under the car at the weekend, this is the git that rattles. Anyone know what it is? Is it the EGCV? Can these be easily replaced? Mine rattles badly and needs replaced or altered. When pressing it or the pipe that goes into it the rattle stops. Heres the pic - Help Paul

Guest Terry S
Probably. The EGCV is a small piece that fits in line just before the DP it's approx 2-3" deep amd have the actuator and arm attched to it. It is difficult to tell for sure from your picture HTH
Barry
Paul, Looks like it mate. If it connects to a small arm on your downpipe (seen from above) then it is. You can see it just under your turbo's. Complete bitch to get to as I found out when I removed the arm and wired open the valve.!

eyefi
id doubt the acuator would rattle, more than likely the valve in the exhaust thats rattling. the actuator is just a spring loaded piston. could b wrong, just my 2p.
Paul Laing
In the first pic, where i have marked it when i press this, or press the rod going into this it stops rattling, what can this be? Replace it?
