RICHARDA Posted May 23, 2004 Share Posted May 23, 2004 Guys I have fitted FMIC plate although I still have SMIC and standard air filter. With this in mind if I remove the scoop part to the right side of the air box that used to draw air from the gap where the FMIC plate is now covering, will I result in the following: a) Draw warm air into the side of the of the air box. b) Nothing c) Any benefits Just wondering as I presume this part is now no longer drawing any air in and wanted to remove it as it is not really serving any purpose as I see it.
