merckx Posted May 22, 2004 Share Posted May 22, 2004 I bought my first Supra last week, it's a 97 J Spec TT . I'm getting an intermittent misfire when I accelerate hard. It's happened about 3 times in the last 5 days. The previous owner was putting 4 Star petrol in now and again because of it's higher octane rating.I'm not sure if this is advisable because of the possible damage to the cats.
