Well its been 11 days since gettin my car back and I'm running the new engine in

I was doin checks every day until I had it a week then I think I done it sat last

Just checked my oil and its down to half on the dip stick when its been full all this time. Doesn't appear to be any leaks just wondered if that type of oil consumption is normal or is it just some thing that happens when a engine is new but then won't drink as much when run in?

Cheers

What oil is in it dude???

The engine will use oil until it is run in and the rings have bedded into the bores. the choice of oil will effect how long this takes, also how you run it in.
