Reverse Beeping noise

If you remove the dash in the normal way and then completely remove the speed/rev/fuel/temp dash arrangement you'll find a little grey plug-in adapter on the back of the circuit board. Just take it off and thats it. All it does is take power from the back of

the rev counter.

 

So there you are, search saved the day again.

The offending beeper is behind the dash ( near the speedo and tacho) - Matt Harwood whipped the beeping thingy out when he was doing some other work for me a while back. I was glad to see the horrid thing go!

Typical isn't it!!

That removal technique does work a treat and its exeptionally easy to replace if you ever get the urge.
