I didn't want to just join up and search around without introducing myself first. I do have a Nissan 200sx S14a and the reason I've joined up is because I'm considering fitting a 1JZ-GTE engine and to run around 400bhp so I'm hoping I'll be able to find all the info I need on here on how to get the 1JZ-GTE to 400bhp, what to look out for on the engine etc (Already found out about the 3 different versions). When I get to the point of doing the conversion I'll start a project thread up so you can see how it goes. This is the car that might be getting the 1JZ treatment. That might be... because the supra mkiv had a 2jz and it isn't a common thing. There are a few people who have used it, but certainly not the majority. I noticed when searching that a few owners on here have swapped the 2JZ GE (non turbo) engine for the 1JZ GTE engine so i'm hoping to see where the limits for turbo's are etc, just so I can work out what costs I'm gonna get coming up.
