Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric tyres Question?

Ive just purchased the above tyres for the rears and will be fitting some time next week. My question is to those who have had experience with this tyre, I was wandering roughly how long these take to scrub in?

I had them on my old uk spec supra, you can find better believe me specially when its raining!

There are toyo T1r on my new supra nothing compare to the eagle F1! its a great tire:)

same here, very good tyre and better compared to my old f1's.

I did so much research when looking for rears and these came out on top so had to get them. Anything would be better than whats on there at the moment bloody Wanli's, there fooking dangerous on a bpu'd tt. Prob be ok for smaller engined cars but on the supe, slightest bit of boost or damp weather and the arse end was out

Believe me mate, its when i pulled out a junction and nearly done a 180 that was it. Not so much me but when the mrs is in the car also too dangerous.

Are these the tyres,that people say they have to have "made in Germany"written on the sidewall with all the fakes flying around?or am i thinking if the wrong tyre?

Yep these are the ones mate. That was the first thing that I checked when they turned up. And yes mine do have made in Germany on them which was a relief

Agreed... great tyres.

Got the GYA's on my M3. After 500miles I was getting wheel spin in all gears leaving the M6 toll but after another few hundred miles I've found them to be as good as I was expecting.

May have taken me longer to wear them in as I'm not know for my flamboyant driving style. Got over 20k on my old F1's!

Guess, i'll be trying these tyres next

Also heard good things about Falken 452s and Vratestein (spelling)

anyone got any contacts for F1's 275/35/18?

Asymetric or the GSD3''s mate?

Had these on for a year now done a few thousand Ks and not much noticable wear, as for performance they are in my opinion great, far better than the GSD3'S which wore quite fast, one thing I would recommend when you have them fitted is to get a wheel allignment done to make sure theyre planted properly.

gsd3's but would like to learn more about the asymetric's?

I have ToyoR888's for track but have never tried them on the road, I heard they are rubbish in the wet.

What are your opinions on Bridgestones?

Another fan of F1's here, got them on my current car and will be putting them on my supra when I get one, I found after about 1k they are scrubbed in good and proper, but I may be talking rubbish, and I have them on a light mgf so I guess a supra will be a lot faster
