No chance in breaking these dude, there tuff little buggers, as you've found out. I had mine out the other day, just get a good grip and pull straight up, job done. :D

I managed to give it a good old tug yesterday and finally the little bugger popped out. Shame that when I tested them they were fine though. :( Eventually traced the problem back to a faulty immobiliser. One UK-spec immobiliser bypassed, one UK-spec car now working again. :)
