Max power supra

Might see 190 down hill with the wind at your back with stock tubbys & no NOS. Will take some time to get there though. Won't be 500hp unless its 400+100shot.

0-60 in 3 seconds is do-able though. TDR was around that time IIRC.

I very much doubt a MP car will be managing 3 sec 60's though. It takes a fairly specific spec to manage that.

I'm sure when I bought Brian's supra aka tDR, that they worked out numbers to be 2.9sec's?? There was a post about it somewhere :search:

I'm sure he'll be along to point out if I'm wrong :p

Dek.

Won't be an exact science but it will certainly be around that to trap those times and speeds.

2.95 secs - was a drag calculator thing on the Suprapod 2k8 thread. My 60ft time on the timeslip on the fastest run was 1.64 seconds so in my mind it adds up! :)

Was a few of us with very similar calculated 0-60MPH times from that Suprapod but other than me they were 600bhp+, the secret was (is!) how quickly I could get off the line and keep going because of the very specific drivetrain parts chosen and fitted along with the mapping to make the most of it all.

I thought a stock TT has a top speed of 180mph? Admit it might be slower getting there when getting past 160mph (That's as quick as I've got her without freaking out).

Again a stock TT MIGHT hit 180 but again, it would need one hell of a runway and a bit of a gust from behind ;)

There is a bit of a difference between stock TT and stock twins though. Stock TT would tell me no mods, stock twins just tells me there aren't any turbo mods ;)

For no particular reason was browsing through the MP site.A Supra on there is claiming,on stock twins,500bhp,top speed 190mph and 0-60 in 3 secs.I must be doing something wrong somewhere. To accurate;480 on the engine plus another 100 with NOS-580bhp.Wistful.

Where are you getting your information from?

From what I read in the above link he claims 4.8 seconds to 60. This is very possible in a stock setup with the right driver so I don't see those claims as so wild. 300km/h seems like a very round figure, it would tell me that it is a forum figure and not an actual achieved figure by the person in question. 186mph is certainly possible IMO. The main bit of bullshit is the 500hp claim. That might be down to misinformation, afterall a member on here is convinced he has over 450hp from stock twins without the fuel to make this possible. 400hp is the round figure that most of us will quote.

Talk about a story growing arms and legs
