Transmission tunnel gets warm.

Is this normal?

This only seems to happen when I’ve been driving quite hard for a while by either high speed sprints (about 10-20miles) and drifting/power sliding say half a dozen times whilst also driving for about 30minutes or so.

It doesn’t get hot, just warm’ish.

Mine does this too. I rest my foot on the carpet and find that it gets quite hot after a while as it seems to recieve dissipated heat from the transmission.:)

YOUR FOOT!!!!

Do you drive bare feet or something?? I suppose it helps for saving weight:)

I havent felt down there - its too far away.

I was on about further up, either side of the ash tray area.

I did also notice this when queying up at Billing for god knows how long, but thought it was just the sun on it:conf: :conf:
