Been to look at a car. But as far as I can see the cam belt has not been changed. It has only done 37K though. After owning a fiat coupe I am quite paranoid about cambelts :eek: would it be best getting it changed. It may not have been changed from new and it's a 1994 model TT. I have just rang Toyota in York but they want £450 to change it. Looking on here they seem to be about £150-250 to do :)

Toyota Arriva Brislington Bristol charged me £138.72 for the belt plus labour.

 

Personally, I always think it's best to get things like this done for peace of mind...was the first thing I did along with a major service, at least you know where you are then.

 

Prevention is better than cure!!
