Guest MoeBlunt
why?? The 2JZ is more than capable of beating these engines...
dude
The LS is capable of 1000hp and high boost by 3000rpm with a small twin turbo kit, if you then bolt twin 76DBB'son , well use your imagination!!!!! You can also stroke these out.
Guest MoeBlunt
...same as a 2jz
MrRalphMan
20k for a short block. Doesn't say he's selling the heads etc with the unit, just that he has them.. I'd rather spend the money on donuts.
j_jza80
why?? The 2JZ is more than capable of beating these engines... For power maybe, although there are some mighty powerful tuned F40s. (I cant imagine how expensive that must be) You can chuck as much money as you want at a 2JZ and it will never sound as good. I know the LS is significantly lighter than the 2J, and I bet the F40 lump is too. Not that I was actually suggesting fitting the F40 engine. garethr
That LS3 is a good deal.It would save a fair bit on the UK price of a crate engine (£5,100 without the flywheel and clutch), (or you could have the LS376/480 and 50 more bhp for £510 more) I really like the idea of a big 450-500 bhp V8 in a manual RHD "European" car, and there would be loads of room in a Supra (yeah, yeah, it's Japanese, but you know what I mean). j_jza80
When an F40 LM comes up for sale you take it in whatever colour is available. These are extremely rare .
