jackso11
Does anyone know a place in the london area I could take a non aerotop boot carpet to and get them to cut it to fit an aerotop (around the roof mounts in the boot) and re-finish the edges? Maybe somewhere that makes custom floor mats? I have been searching but most places that do custom floor mats seem to stock them rather than make them. jackso11
what about the stitching around the edge though? or did you just burn the edge?
Homer
what about the stitching around the edge though? or did you just burn the edge? I just lightly burnt it to stop it fraying (not that it's needed since it's hollow weave fibre, as I found out). It's not as tidy as having it stitched, obviously, but can't imagine anyone noticing that it's just cut to fit.
